We live in the high desert town of Redmond in Central Oregon.

The summers are warm to hot with a short growing season
but the nights are cool and refreshing.
Winters are rather cold
but the sun still seems to shine almost every day.
And we love the snow...not too much...but just enough.

We are surrounded by the snow capped Cascade Mountains on
the West and the rolling splendor of the Blue Mountains on the East.

We also have the view of
the 3 Sisters, Mt. Jefferson, Black Butte,  and Mt. Bachelor.
A winter time paradise for skiiers...
and summertime fun for campers and boaters around
the lakes and rivers.

I've raised and shown Cocker Spaniels since 1980,
and over the years have put the Championships
on over 20 Cockers,
plus several wonderful little Brussels Griffons.

Sherwood Oregon was my home town, then I moved to Portland
after marrying my High School sweetheart Michael Cook.
We were married for 24 years and had 2 sons, Devin and Brandon,
and 5 Grandchildren.
Mike passed away in 1998 and our son Devin also left us in 2004.

Rick's home town was Corvallis and he attended College in Bend
where he came to love this area,
so this is where we have retired.
He has always had a deep love for animals.
We met at work years ago and became friends, so it just seemed
natural to continue our friendship through marriage,
after we both had major life changes.
Rick has 3 brothers and 1 sister,
with family all around Oregon and throughout several Countries.

Rick and I enjoy our little family of "Buffies,"
as he calls them..
They are all house dogs and sleep on the bed.

At the time we are not breeding our Cockers,
but hope to in the next couple of years.
